Non-Medical Face Coverings: “Ask Me Why!
The EEA is proud to launch its very first online e-commerce page with the fundraising sale of its unique non-medical face coverings, to promote awareness and understanding of epilepsy, with all its members, stakeholders, volunteers and the community at large! These face coverings, were made by dedicated volunteers, who have been relentlessly working in the background, during pandemic times, donating their expert skills to sew together these wonderful coverings.The face coverings are made with two layers of high quality cotton, they have a metal nose-strip to adjust and fit tightly to your face, and ear-loops that are adjustable. They have been sanitized, air-dried for 48 hours and placed in sealed envelopes. You can hand-wash them in cold water many times over.
The EEA Board of Directors, started this meaningful fundraising project in 2020. The face coverings are purple, the colour of epilepsy, and carry the important but subtle label of the EEA logo and a call to action: ASK ME WHY! We invite everyone who wears the face coverings to engage in safe conversations about epilepsy, to lower the stigma around the brain disorder, and support all people who live with it!
