Purple Pumpkin Project and Halloween Mystery 2020

The Edmonton Epilepsy Association is excited about launching a special project for all kids and kids at-heart out there, who wish to celebrate Halloween 2020 in a special way. Between October 12 and October 31, 2020 join the EEA by sharing your special home-made Halloween project, with pictures, videos and any other media sharing posts on how you celebrate this special Halloween. Check below the many ways we can build community together!
The Purple Pumpkin Project
We invite you to read up on this special project, initiated by Ron Lamontagne and his son, from Connecticut, back in 2009. Read everything about the story of the Purple Pumpkin on the Epilepsy Foundation of America website. As you will learn, kids around the world join in sharing fun projects, ideas and pictures of decorated front and back yards, with the theme of purple sprinkled across, to engage in conversations with neighbours, friends and families, about epilepsy. We invite you to join the EEA in the same spirit and share your decorations and stories with us.
  • Send us your best pictures and stories about your special decorations of purple pumpkins – we will post them here. Email info@edmontonepilepsy.org
  • Use the twitter handle: @PurplePumpkinPr to post your creations and follow shares from kids around the world!
  • Use the card template here and share your answers about the question: “Ask Me Why My Pumpkin Is Purple?
The Halloween Mystery
