FRIENDS WITH EPILEPSY
Resources in this section will have in common real examples of children living with epilepsy, from when they first experience a seizure to when they go to the special doctors, to how it feels to have seizures, or take medication. This will be the header portion of every resource in this section.
CAMPI HAS EPILEPSY – CAMPI IS UNWELL
WATCH THE VIDEO
In this short animation, Campi finds out he may have seizures. His friends tell the teacher what happened to Campi, and together they decide it is best for Campi to go to the doctor. A special doctor, called a NEUROLOGIST.
FOLLOW UP ACTIVITY 1
This is where we would put a poster or a colouring page, with big words from this short animation. The resource would be a downloadable PDF.
We could invite children to take a picture and share their work with us.
FOLLOW UP ACTIVITY 2
This is where we add another activity, with questions for follow up with adults (as children in grades K-3 may need supervision to navigate).
More PDF downloadables and we can add small animations with sound for a character to read out loud what the activity is about.
