Join us on March 22, 2025, at West Edmonton Mall!
We’re excited to invite you, your family, friends, and supporters of the epilepsy cause to participate in the Step Up 4 Epilepsy walkathon. This awareness and fundraising event is hosted by the Edmonton Epilepsy Association (EEA) and will take place inside the West Edmonton Mall on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Click on the icon and name of the volunteer you wish to support with your pledge. You can also join the walk and get your own link to help fundraise. We welcome everyone to walk with us on March 22, 2025 between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. at West Edmonton Mall.

Why Walk?
By registering, you’ll join us in raising much-needed awareness and funds to support individuals living with epilepsy. You’ll have the opportunity to walk indoors, gather pledges, and complete one of the following challenges:
- 12,000 steps: One full circuit of both floors of WEM
- 6 km: Two laps of the second floor
- 7 km: One lap of both the first and second floors
- 10 km: One lap of the first floor and two laps of the second floor
Once registered, pick up your walking gear at the E360 Community booth (near Shoppers Drug Mart) and enjoy a day of fun activities afterward. Don’t forget to wear purple to show your support for epilepsy awareness!

Our Goal
This is the EEA’s first indoor walkathon, and we are thrilled to partner with the West Edmonton Mall team for this event, especially during the winter months when outdoor walks may not be ideal. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support programs like Mentorship, Memory Coaching, Focus Groups, and Epilepsy 101 presentations. These services directly help students, employees, and community members affected by epilepsy.
