Every October, the Edmonton Epilepsy Association organizes a special awareness campaign, to increase awareness about epilepsy, teach everyone a bit about seizures and lower stigma. 2023 Stigma Maze! Beat the Myths About Epilepsy!
In 2023 we focus our efforts in busting myths about epilepsy! Our title is: The Stigma Maze! Learn with us, walking around a Halloween-themed maze, the many myths about seizures and epilepsy, and bust them with us, through an online and social media journey!
Each day in October 2023, follow us on social media, or simply access our kids page at this link and learn silly, strange, long-held and often negative ideas and superstitions about epilepsy and life with seizures! Our friendly neurons will teach us a different truth each day, and you can enter to win a special prize for taking the journey with us!
